Built a free tool for the new baby admin in Ireland, would love some feedback

Hi all,

My partner and I are trying for our first, and while reading up on what you actually have to sort out I kept getting lost. Registering the birth, the PPS number, Child Benefit, Maternity and Paternity Benefit: they all sit on separate official pages and nothing tells you what comes first or when the deadlines fall. I figured if I found it confusing before even needing it, it has to be worse with a newborn in the house.

So I built a free tool:

parentready.ie

You answer a few questions and it lays out your steps in the order they need to happen, with a link to the official govie page for each one. No sign up, and without an account nothing you type ever leaves your own browser.

It is very early days, so what I would really like is honest feedback from people who have actually been through it. Is anything missing? Is the order wrong anywhere? Is there a step that caught you out that I have not covered?

It is independent and not a government service, so always check your own situation on the official pages. Thanks for reading.
