I work for a commercial/industrial outfit.
Yesterday about 20 minutes after I pulled up, next door neighbor who has consistently been a dick to me about little things comes to the door with a twelve pack of my favorite beer. HAH! His A/C stopped working and it's 106 here.
Told him to enjoy the beer.
Circa 1995, I had a fling with a woman that lasted ~ 6 weeks. We never communicated after it ended.
I later get married, got through my adult life and have two other children with my ex-wife. My son did a DNA test in 2025 and finds that he has a half-sister from my side. I took the DNA test, and it comes back that she's my child.
I get in touch with her via the site, and it's exciting, we chat/text on the phone regularly. Her mother gave her up for adoption and never revealed that I was her father. I've got two grandchildren that I've never met, as they live in Florida and I live in Colorado.
I'm relocating back to Florida in September roughly 4 hours away from her, and we're both terribly excited to meet each other. She's planning on bring out my grandkids to meet me as well.
I'd like a concensus of appropriate gifts for everyone - this is a new one for me. I'm in the process of purchasing a house (10 days to close) and she wants to come here with a plus one (BF) and I see no issue with this at all.
Oh yes, the kids - 6M and 5F.
