Hey Everyone!

I need some of your guys oppinions.

I have bite case || severe overbite and open bite. I have alot of chronic illnesses and HEDS, Mcas, PoTs, ME, Menieres,Hasimoto etc. And Im pretty sure i have OSA and possibli hypersomnia.

I have TMD and alot of pain and migraines.

I had metal braces when I was young started actually with a underbite. And ended up with a small open bite.

And then eventually my bite now wich I think is because of tunge press and neck/head trauma.

I had Spark in 2023 to 2024. And have been clear for surgery. But I then lost my mom and then my grandma. And needed to have a laprascopy for endometriose so jaw surgery got post pond.

The reason im writing here now. Is because im scheduled for jaw surgery in september 2026. Bsso advancement. And possibly also lefort.

But I have recently made a discovery that my palate is a little narrow. I think its like 35/36mm tried to measure. And that to have the best results i should do Dome zero/ FME first? Im adding some photos. Do i have a really narrow palate? Should i do Palate expansion first?.

I just got to know now that it takes along time. And its expensive.

And here where i Live in Norway my surgery in it self is covered but they dont wanna do it in people after 40 because of the possible nerve and bone growth etc.

And I am concerned they will say no to my to a New surgery in maybe 1.5 years if i do Palate expansion first and call off surgery in september.

Im scared. And I just wanna do the right ting for possibly bytter health and life. Im a mouth breather. I have a deviated septum also and nasal valve prolapse. So obviously i have bad nasal breathing. And if I lift my nasal tip i can breathe alot better.

What should i do. And considering my photos and palate arch. Im also curious because my lower arch is also small. I have a small mouth. And what will that look like if i expand my upper jaw. Will that be bad?

Some photos of profile and front smile and bite.

Thank you so much for reading this and hope for some answers. Maria.
