It’s Nosferatober, so I gotta draw Nosferatu everyday… which means I have an excuse to draw Striga every day! Hooray! (Still suck at drawing tho)

Striga is OUR favorite Npc who is unlocked with level 100 nosferatu. And we, yes WE love her so much that I’ll bother to explain some of the ways I interpret her lore for everyone here, to whom Striga can thank for her totally existent doting!

Striga and Nosferatu were once very close to each other, back before he betrayed the Masquerade. Except Striga was no ordinary vampire… she was… a STRIGA!… which is a translation of the Polish word ‘strzyga,’ which refers to a woman born with two hearts, two souls, and two sets of teeth, who lived life the same as any other woman before death, where one of their souls went to the afterlife as normal, while the other one stayed in their body and was reborn as something no longer human that would have to consume the blood of humans to survive.

Upon hearing of Nosferatu’s senseless murdering, Striga impulsively came to his residence to confront him about it, intending to kill him. They very quickly escalated into a fight when she arrived, which ended in Striga’s death.

While draining the essence of Two-by-Two from his erstwhile kin, he felt an addling emptiness; no sorrow, no guilt, just that same tepid amusement of any other life he took. Nosferatu knew soon after he was to elude the vampires, lest he entreat his time’s second great extremity. Before eventually making it into the forsaken realm.

Striga, now reborn, was separated from a half of her she had grown quite fond of. Her second soul had died, and went to the afterlife. She returned to Dracula, seeking instruction. She was told it is imperative she ensures Nosferatu has an eye kept on him, to make sure he doesn’t jeopardize their race.

She followed Nosferatu into the Forsaken Realm, without the Spectre’s knowledge, as she found a certain way to come and go as she pleases. She wished to make sure Nosferatu never got the chance to harm the second soul of hers which left.

Yes, I am looking too far into this random ass npc. No, I do not care.

Good day for Nosferatu fans, we get another thing to hallucinate about!

(Yes, I know it’s obviously not. But I wanna argue a case for it being Dracula, becauseI I feel like it, and he lowkey needs more people talking about him. This post is not entirely serious, and I don’t think we’re getting Dracula mentioned at all ANY time soon.)

(If you’re not a ball knower, Dracula is a Vampire mentioned by Striga, and he made a deal with the Necrobloxicon to give him the ability to create vampires many eons ago)

1. We do not know anything about dracula, he was mentioned once, as far as I remember, and he has no canon design, or anything about his personality. As far as we know, his design could be anything. Having a gang sort of style would be a very unique take on the concept of Dracula, and differentiate Forsaken’s version from other depictions of the character. Additionally, Forsaken’s Vampire lore says that they are a small, organized group of criminals, which aligns well with the definition of gang, so the gang style wouldn’t subtract anything from the current vampire lore. One of the songs that inspired Nosferatu, rivers is a vampire, is about a vampire who tries to stay hip with the kids to get into a party, and slaughter everyone there, and Dracula could be trying to do something similar in Forsaken.

2. About the blue fluid by the feet, Forsaken’s vampires drain the essence of Two-By-Two from Robloxians to survive, which we know is a fluid, from all of the jars of the stuff in Bloodfell manor. However, we don’t know if it’s always red. There is a common myth in real life that blood turns red only after being exposed to air, so this essence of Two-By-Two could be sufficiently fresh as to not turn red yet. The Roblox branded knife also helps, because Roblox is made from Two-By-Two, or something, so maybe you need Two-By-Two to extract Two-By-Two… I don’t know.

3. It is never confirmed that Dracula himself is a vampire, only that he made them. Assuming he’s not, he might be hunting to feed his own kind, and because he wouldn’t have any special powers or fangs to hunt with, and would have to resort to using a weapon, like a knife.

4. The date listed is in October, specifically October 2nd, 2017. This is during the Halloween season, and by extension, the masquerade, and could be the Date Nosferatu betrayed the Masquerade.

5. I’m coping.

(Secret 6th reason…! It’s because I’m going insane from the Devs giving ZERO acknowledgement to striga, and I’m just making up some BULLSHIT because I can)

She died of ZERO official acknowledgment for TEN months.

I didn’t wanna just post almost the same exact thing two days in a row, so I made “always bet on striga tomorrow” just so it would be a little different.

I got time to make what is under her overcoat and skirt, because certain angles and poses might call for showing her socks. I also added a bit more, used the nightshade poison on it (fuck ai) and I clarified I am okay with you drawing whatever you want with this, as long as it’s you drawing it, and not an ai. I’ll put the transparent versions of the ref sheet in the spam channel of the r/FORSAKENROBLOX discord server.

Striga will be added at the end of the Masquerade event, trust me. Mark your calendars.

First one is with text, and the second one is without. I’m sorry if it isn’t my highest quality work, I had to finish it by the end of the day in order to reach my Striga post quota by the end of the day… which is in like, 20 minutes.

I did a bit of a dynamic pose because I felt it did a better job representing her design. I also didn’t shade it, because that was one of the biggest pieces of advice I came across while researching how to make a reference sheet.

Feel free to ask me any questions about it in the comment section, because I was a little bit rushed on this one, so it wasn’t able to answer everything within the image. Or ask me about why I chose to make a certain design choice, whatever it may be, I’ll answer.

I wanted to draw her looking at the message left by nosferatu as he entered the realm, as well as the symbol it left. Wonder if phosphorus was there?

I’ll probably post lower quality images of OUR favorite milestone npc for the next few days or so so I can focus more on making a reference sheet so people can draw her easier if they wanna. Or just take better inspiration from it for their own striga designs if they wanna make them.
