Daylin Swain appears to be one of the primary playmakers, unless there’s a significant roster change. I understand it’s a summer league, but I really like the idea. He did lead Texas in assists. This is some of the stuff Tiago talked about: not pigeonholing a player and looking at all the options.
OKC has two 1st round picks in this draft and only one roster spot without losing a core player. The Bulls, having the 15th and 38th, and all of their future 1st and a boatload of seconds, should consider trading up and gaining an additional pick. If OKC agrees, the Bulls would now have in hand the 4th, 12th, and 17th pick in exchange for the 15th and 38th, and trade a future 1st top 10 protected in 2027, if that doesn’t convey top 4 protections in 2028, and unprotected in 2029.
I know many would scoff at trading picks, but with the new rules that punish tanking and NIL, this may be the year to consider trading up and adding an additional pick. Especially having a ton of cap space which they could use to take in a bad contract to offset the loss of a pick.
I’m building out a tour kit and want to make sure It appears the Maschine+ will not power the Mk3 keyboard in standalone mode.
