Hi all!! I’m planning a Mediterranean food crawl around Long Island and would love some recommendations.

I’m open to all kinds of Mediterranean cuisines, including Greek, Turkish, Lebanese, Israeli, Palestinian, Persian, etc.

Especially interested in mom-and-pop spots, hole-in-the-wall places, bakeries, markets, and dessert spots.

What are your must-try spots?

Me and my friend are planning to do a food crawl in Jackson Heights, Astoria, Flushing, and other areas. Any recommendations? Would love to hear!!
