PTE Academic – SWT Strategy

Hi everyone, I’m preparing for the PTE Academic exam, and I came across Nakul PTE’s videos. In one of his videos, he mentioned a strategy for Summarize Written Text (SWT) where you pick from the passage, one sentence from the beginning, one from the middle, and one from the end of the passage, and combine them into a single sentence. sentence1, and sentence2, but sentence3.

He mentioned that this strategy will work 100%.

Has anyone here actually tried this method in the real PTE exam? How effective is it, especially if I’m aiming for a high score (79+/90)?

I’m wondering whether it is safe to rely on this strategy or whether it’s better to understand the main idea and summarize the key points in my own words.

Would really appreciate feedback from anyone who has tried this method. Should I follow this trick for SWT?

Ape Uni/Gurully/Alfa PTE which one recommended

Hi everyone, I am preparing for the PTE Academic exam and I am planning to purchase a subscription for practice. Based on my research, I have shortlisted ApeUni, Gurully, and Alfa PTE.

I also came across a previous Reddit post discussing ApeUni and Gurully, but the discussion didn’t give me enough information to decide which one would be better.

Could you please share your experience and suggest which platform would be better for practicing and improving my PTE score? I would really appreciate recommendations from people who have actually used these platforms.

Also, I keep hearing people talk about “PTE predictions.” Could someone please explain what predictions actually mean and how they work? Are they really useful for the exam, and how reliable are they?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
