Anyone who has gone through addiction treatment -
I’ve had to go to drug and alcohol treatment multiple times in my life, the problem that I always had was being overstimulated and the inability to pay attention of what is going on. I have relapsed repeatedly throughout my life I finally 11 1/2 years ago was able to get sober. Now I am an operator for a drug treatment center. It’s been built intentionally small for only five clients at a time and I love that idea because of all the failures I’ve had. We recognize that so many of our clients are neurodivergent as well, and we’re able to make accommodations for them. If you had experienced the same what would your advice be for accommodations? What would’ve helped you the most?
