Honestly just a mindless rant, probably a futile one too, but I disliked that they used the same song that was used for Chrollo and the troupe’s requiem for Uvogin’s death for Genthru’s fight against Gon.

It felt like a cheap way to elevate the situation’s intensity, but it was already good enough, to me it just devalued the insane bloodbath requiem scene. I just feel like Genthru isn’t worth all that you know? I just kind of wanted it to remain the special song for that one very special scene.

Meaningless rant over

I didn’t get far in the manga yet so I am not sure if it was explained there, but in the anime the only clue given was Ging saying Crazy Slot will only roll a certain number when Kite is determined not to die. Could that have played a role? Because as far as I know, the queen never ate him, he only got dissected by Pitou.
