Aurelion Sol OTP looking for champion pool tips to improve at the game

Im a relatively new player and ive gotten pretty decent as a Asol OTP playing him both mid and botlane, and i need some help figuring out who to put in my champ rotation to best cover the most matchups and to get better at the game. I dont want to get stuck only being able to play aurelion despite loving him so much, mostly because i love midlane, but he has some horrible and almost unplayable matchups there.

id love someone who translates the skills im gaining from playing asol well, like being decent at playing safe and dodging due to low mobility, but still covers learning/improving some of the things i might not get playing asol (like skillshots lol).

For botlane specifically there is a big issue however, i absolutely despise champions that rely on auto attacks, i just cant for the life of me get good at it and do it well during fights. its just to much clicking for what my mouse accuracy can handle, midlane however i feel like there is enough ability focused champs that its not particularly an issue

so TLDR ig: I wanna find champs to add to my pool that are usable as bot and mid, so i have another pick besides asol to both get good at the champion itself and league overall, but avoiding auto attack heavy champs as its a playstyle im really incompatible with

should add im around high gold low plat elo

How to survive asol early game

How do you survive the asol early game both bot and mid without either dying a bunch or giving all your plates and or tower?
I always try and play safe and get to late game, but if i play too passive the gold and push lead gets to big and the chance of dying by playing more aggressive seems like an even worse choice
