Looking to get some clarity on this. If you were cleared to backtrack on runway 9 for takeoff, are you automatically cleared to cross the hold short line for runway 2 without being explicitly told? Or are you expecting to turn around and line up on 9 while remaining clear of the hold short line?

Similarly, if you were cleared to line up and wait on runway 2 and had to taxi on runway 9 to get there, should you be pulling up past the hold short line and wait there?

Update: thanks for all the responses! My confusion was essentially whether or not you would be expected to back track the full length of runway 9, or only up to the hold short line to remain clear of runway 2. At my home airport, I see a lot of pilots go all the way to the runway edge without an explicit clearance, so I wasn't sure
