My thoughts on the S4 weapons...
After some time with the new weapons, I feel like my opinion would resonate to some. Before Season 4 dropped, people already knew what weapons were to drop (with the upcoming season leaks) and so expectations were set.
Out of the 3 weapons, Stormweaver had my attention the most and I was hyped but alas, I was disappointed. Damage is underwhelming but the heal is okay. The cons aside from its damage is how you recharge your abilities and when an ability is used, it resets. The only pro that I could think of is it's tornado ability being able to group a bunch of mobs so that other weapons could be able to thrive (e.g. Pyro + Stormbreaker synergy in a mob-clear dojo mission). I feel like the devs made this weapon just to synergize off of other weapons especially with it's counterparts released (Pyro & Med. Ball). You would HAVE to group up in expeditions because the moment you run solo, it is miserable. For single boss missions it's okay. That's my opinion on it, had my highest expectation but now I rarely use it. I even chose it as my first weapon to get and was kind of bummed out immediately. 😂
Pyro. This was the second weapon I was contemplating into getting first. Not much to say about it really except that it's very competitive damage wise with the other high DPS weapons (e.g. Squid Blades & Bloodsucker) I really don't have any complaints about it, although I am bad at using this weapon so usually die a lot. 😂 Still getting better at it though. Maybe my only nitpick with it is that make the fire burn a little bit longer on enemies before it resets it's damage stack? But other than that, this weapon is surprisingly good. I like it. Plus, the animations on the end screen when winning/losing are super cute.
Now last but NOT THE LEAST, Medicine Ball. Wow. I mean can't say I hate it now because I am loving it. Where do I even start... I mean, to say at the very least, this was the weapon that didn't appeal to me at all even before the release. But now I could say that this weapon has my exact opposite of my opinion on Stormweaver. It's my least expected weapon that I would like, and now I'm using it a lot. Damage wise? It's okay. But the heals? It's busted. It's better than Vibeshifter IMO. Wide range heals after 3 AAs and has a crazy amount of heal is pretty good, group invulnerability shield also good as it prevent CC unto the players, plus on top of having an AA heal, you have your own healing skill as well. If survivability had another name, it would be this weapon.
TL; DR
Stormweaver: had my hopes up, is actually poop
Pyro: high dps, no complaints, very cute = Gud overall
Medicine Ball: LEBRON JAMES OF HEALING
