I'm a developer of a daily word puzzle game. Can anyone solve these? My playtesters are stumped!

Game title: Witty Ditty

Playable link: [playwittyditty.com](http://playwittyditty.com)

My game is fairly simple. You're given a hint for two words that rhyme (or nearly rhyme), and then you have to guess the answer.

Example: a clever jingle

Answer: Witty Ditty

I'm trying to create the puzzles myself, spread across 4 categories: easy, medium, hard, very hard. I'm trying to find the balance between the difficulties. Some of my beta testers, who are not puzzlers, are struggling with the hard/very hard puzzles, which is expected, but I don't know if they are too hard.

Can anyone solve these, or are they too hard?

Puzzle 1: A refined taste for democracy

Puzzle 2: Approach a fading bloom

Puzzle 3: A verified taming

Also open to any other feedback you have!

I’m a developer building a daily word puzzle game. Can anyone solve these? They've been stumping my beta testers.

When do you consider a project "done?"

I've released my first free game, and feedback from friends & family has been generally positive. It's a very simple puzzle game that I'm hoping people return to each day, a bit like something you would see in the NY Times Games app.

I've set my game up in such a way that there are some features I COULD add, but for the most part, the game is done.

My mind is already wandering to new ideas and so I am wondering from this group: when do you decide to move on from a project, and when do you decide to keep investing your time in it?

Or am I a bit naïve here, and the true work on my game is only just beginning? 😋

I made the rhyming word game that I wanted to play.

Hey everyone,

I work in corporate communications and have always had a fascination with words, and the power that the right words can have. I decided merge my passion for words with my love of technology, and made a daily browser-based word puzzle game.

The premise is very simple. You'll get a hint for two words that rhyme, and you have to guess the answer! There are 4 difficulties, and the puzzles get updated every day (a bit like Wordle). It's a slight variation of a word game that I used to play as a kid.

I'd love to get some feedback from everyone here to see how sticky/fun/clear the game is. I would also LOVE people to share some of their favourite uncommon words. I'm trying to make the puzzles manually, and have found it's hard to come up with the "very hard" puzzles.

You can play the game for free here: playwittyditty.com

Introducing Witty Ditty: You get a hint for two words that rhyme, and then have to guess the answer!

Game title: Witty Ditty

Playable link: playwittyditty.com

About: A very simple word-based puzzle game that is free to play & you can access it directly in your browser! This is a variation of a game that I played a lot as a kid. I didn't see any quality browser games that were like it, so I thought I would give it a go.

Gameplay: You're given a hint for two words that rhyme, and then you have to guess the answer. So if the answer was "a clever jingle," the answer would be "Witty Ditty."

The puzzles refresh every day and there are 4 difficulties to choose from.

Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Try out this simple word puzzle game: you're given a hint for two words that rhyme, and you have guess the answer!

This was a game that I used to play in the car a lot or with my friends. The premise is very simple: you're given a hint for two words that rhyme (or nearly rhyme), and you have to guess what they are.

For example, if the clue was "a clever jingle" the answer would be "a witty ditty."

I'm not very good at solving word games myself, so I have made 4 different difficulty tiers for players to try: easy, medium, hard, very hard. The puzzles reset every day at midnight, and your streak carries over to the next day.

The game is still in beta and I am currently working on developing the app. It's a browser-based game found here. This is not a promotional post - I truly am just looking for some playtests/people to catch bugs.

Let me know if you have any feedback / find any bugs!

I made a classic but simple word game: get a hint for two words that rhyme, then try to solve the riddle!
