Is Fogo de Chao on Las Olas always a crappy experience, or were we just unlucky last night?

Last night 6 of us got together to celebrate my buddy’s birthday, and we didn’t have a very good experience. Our reservation was for 7, and the restaurant wasn’t yet Friday night crazy. Still, the service was really slow and inattentive, and they only brought a few of the premium meats we paid for despite multiple requests. And what they brought was overcooked; when we asked for medium rare they’d promise to bring some next trip and never did. And then at some point service just seemed to stop — we had our green cards up, we requested various meats, but it just never came. Definitely a disappointing experience , and unlike other Brazilian steakhouses we’ve visited.

We don’t mind dropping $250/couple for dinner, not for bad service and disappointing food. 2/10 would not recommend.

Does anyone grow rhubarb?

Ice heard that you can grow rubbers as an annual in GA, but haven’t seen it actually done. Do any of you kind redditors grow it? If so, where do you source the plants? How does it turn out? And do you have any tips?

Hey Augusta, I need a couple of big oak logs

Hey folks, I need 2-3 large (4-8 feet long, maybe a foot thick/wide?), fresh (cut within 1-2 weeks) oak
logs to use as mushroom substrate. Any suggestions on who to call for this weird request?

(Sorry for the stupid tag; I want to buy, it’s not for sale. Please feel free to suggest better tags)
