For move-in day, I was late to sign up for a slot that was as early as possible (8-830), and ended up with 930-10. Am I still allowed to show up at 8? What exactly does signing up for a slot entail, and would there be any time restrictions in getting my ID and showing up to my res college if I show up earlier?

I'm looking for a professional-looking, lightweight bag for college that protects my Legion 7i and has enough room for notebooks, etc.
