The daily post of my 240Z :)

Let me know when you all get tired of seeing her, because you're gonna see a lot of it

Taking her day by day, thanks for all the kindness!

I've been posting on and off for the past couple weeks, but everyone in this sub has been amazingly supportive. Easily the best community I can say I'm proud to be in.

Thank you everyone for all the support! We're taking it day by day :)

More info:

It's a 1973, originally Lime Green and then black at some point in it's life- Repainted Dunkel Olive Metallic (M6X, Porsche color).

LS1 swapped, T56 trans, Tokico suspension, Jegs Fuel Cell, Cusco Bolt-In Cage. Rota Kyusha's (eventually moving back to Longchamps down the line)

Currently gutted interior, but I will be replacing that this weekend along with a full Skillard interior, front splitter, etc. This car was picked up from a friend who spent 10 years on it, and I ended up picking her up promising to finish it so they could see it on the road again.

8/10 was the first day that he had gotten to see the car running, driving, and fully painted the way he intended it to :)

Slowly getting pieced back together :)

Small update to the paint post. I'll break out the Mirrorless camera for better photos eventually, but getting there.

New paint! Excited but don't have many people to share this with

Honestly I know it's just one photo, but I'm just beyond ecstatic to get my 240z back together and on the road.

Some very minor odds and ends, but she's one step closer to being done. Anyway, that's all I've got.

Affordable Automotive Paint & Body shops?

Hi everyone!

I have an old car I really just want to have a shiny coat of paint, a few dents filled, and looking half decent for 5-6 years until I can get enough for a full restoration down the line. I'm paying out of pocket so I'd appreciate something on the low end.

Does anyone have any recommendations for cheap but decent quality auto body and paint shops? Or even if you know a friend of a friend who puts out some quality work

Anything is appreciated!
