Likelihood of getting off a waitlist

I was placed on a waitlist as a transfer student in March and they haven’t had any movement yet. They said they will let the students know once the waitlist closes at the end of summer and they won’t tell me what spot I am on the waitlist. I have emailed checking in a few times and I don’t want to keep bothering them lol I was wondering if anyone has experience getting off the waitlist and what the likelihood of getting off of it is.

What to do when you’re feeling behind in life?

I’m 26 and just got rejected from the last nursing school I was waiting to hear back from. I got waitlisted from another one and rejected from another one. I went back to school over 2 years ago for this and was really betting on getting to start this fall and be done in 2028. I would’ve been moving to a new state with my bf but now we have to stay and I’m so devastated. We live in my hometown and I’ve never left and I’m itching to get out. I feel so behind in life. I don’t like my job, I don’t have good friends, I’m not enjoying life. I don’t know what to do. Thanks in advance.

Giving up

Over two years ago I decided to back to school for nursing. I got all As in my prereqs, ending with a 4.00 science gpa and 3.75 overall gpa (due to some classes I took when I was right out of high school at my CC). I got my phlebotomist license, 60+ hours of ER volunteer work, and have been working as a medical assistant since November. I applied to three schools (Ik, not a lot but I thought at least one would work out) and I got rejected from two and waitlisted for one. These schools don’t require testing like TEAS and for one of them I had two letters of recommendation from my anatomy/physio and my boss who is an MD. I really don’t understand and I am extremely devastated and disappointed. I think I’m just going to give up and figure out something else. I’m almost 27 with no degree, I can’t wait any longer to keep doing this.
