Did anyone else notice Nurse Anderson running beside her bike in season 10?

In the episode where all of the student midwives come to Nonnatus, there is a scene where all of the midwives and students are on their bikes and then ride off together. I was just watching that scene again and I noticed that Nurse Anderson is not riding her bike, but running beside it. Did anyone else notice this?

Rewatching? What episode are you watching?

I am rewatching Call The Midwife. I just watched when Sister Monica Joan stood up for Nurse Crane by calling the health board old. I love Sister Monica Joan. She is the best.

Has anyone else had their selected color be different when using it on the whiteboard?

A bit of explanation. I just chose to use a color I made, called mauve. It is in the second spot on my quick color list. Now, even though I have selected this color and it is checked, when I write on the whiteboard, it writes in blue, the previous color in that spot. I can get the color I want by rechoosing the color and selecting it again, but it seems silly to need to select the color twice just to use it.

Has this happened to anyone else?

How do you find the mean given the standard deviation the percentage of samples and a total value? Normal distribution.

I've found a few different methods to answer this question, but they each involve being given the mean or a number of samples. I don't have either.

Find the mean of a group when the standard deviation is 150 and the group is normally distributed and 90% represents 4000.

Without the number of samples, I can't use the standard deviation to find the mean.

My advisor ghosted me (has a good reason), right before my defense. Defense was canceled and put off until the fall. I can and am ready to defend this summer. Not sure what to do.

Back story. My advisor is going through health issues and was not responding a few months before my defense. Then right as my defense was supposed to happen, they turn into a ghost. I have sent a weekly check-in message asking if they are ok and have any corrections for my thesis, cause they were supposed to send those back in March/April and never did. It has been 3 weeks since they last responded to any of my messages. We are in different countries, so I can't just go into their office. It wouldn't matter much anyway, since they haven't been in their office.

I would really REALLY like to defend in August (summer) to avoid having to pay for an entire semester just to give one presentation. How much longer should I wait until I reach out to other professors on my committee to set up my defense? I have a subadvisor, sort of. They haven't been involved the entire time. How long until I reach out to them to see what's what? Should I go to the Grad office and ask advice?

Calculators are being used in year 3 (US grade 1.5-2) to teach students conversion of fractions into decimals.

I just added a new homeschool student to my ranks. They were expected to use a calculator in their in school math class. They are in year 3. They don't need accomodations or are having any other issues. Their teacher was just using calculators to teach division and conversion of fractions into decimals.

I honestly don't know why I am teaching math at all. I should just give every year 1 a calculator and then let them go.

That is all. Just wanted to put this out here.

We've all done this. We've all told someone to "Be safe." Or to "make good choices." What is that called? I am sure there is a name for it, but I just can't think of what it is.
