Differences in dating pool?

I've apparently ran out of profiles in a 20 mile radius, with a handful of outgoing likes and getting only one match.

I'm 42F, foreign national and my interests and hobbies revolve around history, art, music. They're very important for me so I swipe left on anyone that only lists football, the gym or gaming as their passions. I've set my age limit between 35 and 50.

Could it be the algorithm showing me unsuitable profiles or could it really be the local dating pool? Has anyone that travels noticed big differences in demographic depending on location?

Volunteering on occasional basis

As per title, I would love to volunteer but I'm on a 6 days on 2 off work rota, which means that my availability is limited and my days off change every week.

I've been struggling to find volunteering opportunities on an occasional basis.

Does anyone know of any suitable ones? Thank you in advance!

Urinary dry food

I've recently adopted 2 male cats, 1 year old, who are used to eating mostly dry food. I'm trying to introduce wet food but they don't seem too keen. I have a water fountain, several bowls and cups around the house to encourage drinking.

Would it be worth swapping their dry food to a Urinary specific one? If so, which brand would be best?

I haven't had this problem before, my previous cat loved her wet food. Any advice greatly appreciated!

Edit to clarify: they don't drink much water either despite trying tricks to lure them (cups on windowsills, water fountain, bowls in different spots etc)
