Using api pricing to use your own system prompt experiences???

So given api pricing is expensive af, im wondering if just using sonnet with a better system prompt on api could be a good compromise if I want to have a more custom friendly less "effective altruism/rationalist" style claude? I love opus but wondering if anyone takes this route out of necessity?

Anyone keep trying to increase dose and getting screwed each time?

I've been on 1.6-1.8mg of tirz for the last 6 months with decent success. Every time I try to increase the dose to 2.5 or 3 or I even tried 4, I start to feel super fatigued and weird and just overall bad. So I have to stay on this dose. It works okay but I really wish I could get extreme noticeable effects but it seems like I just can't tolerate higher doses. Anyone else have something similar?

Thinking of system prompting Claude to be less agreeable... downsides?

My one gripe is that I can basically get Claude to affirm or deny just about anything by phrasing it optimistically or pessimistically in the prompt and asking sort of leading questions. I definitely don't want Claude to blanket disagree with everything though and be argumentative, it's just I'm hitting a lot of these "You're right" and "Fair pushback" which makes it hard to actually know what's accurate with a lot of things. Anyone fiddled with changing this type of behavior?
