I came back to WOW classic after 10 years and I’m first time playing priest. Im level 12 and keep running out mana. Constantly needing refreshing water.

I put 2 points in spirit tap and 2 in wand.
My current circuit is: smite, shadow word: pain, power word: shield, more smite or weapon.

Am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: thank you so for such detailed answers!! I did not fully understand the 5 sec rule pairing it with wand-ing to death.
