Hello. I want to play Russia in ranked, using mechanised infantry for carddraw, the 3cost infantry that reduces operating costs for tanks (269th inf). For tanks, I would love if the tank giving other tanks +1heavy armor (SU-152) and IL2 to give +1+1 for combat with heavy armor. Which other tanks and units would be good in such a deck? Which faction would I ally in it?
This simple fix would make dungeon much more competetive in Exodus: The medusa dwelling requires only Onyx dances, and not Minotaurs. It would make double hydra week one doable (especially if you find 2x hydra dwellings week one, which is quite often), while not pulling away from Kinnan/Mino all in for minotaurs strategy. Thoughts?
So I happened to play Schism on Exodus vs Temple today, and lost fight one, but got fight 2. As I was playing Nihil, I managed to do every objective before fight 3 (literally both deserts, and all the cornucopias, dragons etc in towns 4&5. I was playing against Pip. I knew he would be strong and that my primarily shooter army would be vunerable against twilight. I had orb of inhibition for first round, however round 2, he had higher initiative and cast Twilight. I had Inner light, but as a might hero, you have much less SP than Magic heroes, so it couldn't reduce the time of Twilight by enough. He first killed my melee creatures, then finished off ranged ones with later cast summons. Any tips? I know bloated arbitrators can stop spellcasting for 3 charges (I have energize), but Temple cavalry will out-initiative them almost always. Wasnt lucky with -spell lvl items, although I had ressistance -1, it wasnt enough.
I primarily main Hive and Dungeon, so it helped to see how Magic heroes can shutdown huge Schism numbers just by 1 spell, it was a tough fight and I congratulate my opponent.
