I'm thinking of relocating my battery switch to this area to make it easier to reach. As you can see from the one photo, that the current switch is all the way down on the floor, and when I want to turn it on or off from outside the boat while on the trailer it's kind of a stretch. My question is, do you think that this area where I would like to mount it is a stress point and should not be drilled into any more than what it already is? The boat is a 2003 Seaswirl 210 BR with a VEC hull, if that matters.
