Finally was able to take this little thing for a rip for the first time out of the neighborhood. Suspension was very soft and it does have a brutal death sway around 65 (new arm bushings on order already) but overall was impressed. PS if you saw my last post regarding the trans I suspect some oil leaked into the tps sensor plug sending a full throttle signal to the tcu only allowing it to shift at redline. Cleaned the sensor reset the battery and it shifts around 3 without power mode on 😁

Recently picked this little Wd21 up! Auto, 4x4, AC, power windows and they all work 😳. It was a non runner due to the tbi filling the entire crank case and cylinders with ancient orange fuel but got it running off a Weber 38!

If anyone has carb swapped one of these auto trans trucks were you able to get it driving without the TPS? without the tps plugged in on this the shift points are incredibly high. I’m thinking about 3d printing a bracket to mount the tps on the Weber.
