I looked at the rumoured west coast charter one on the 3rd to celebrate hst day but it’s setting off from London jubilee on the slow lines.

There must be something on that day or near surely.

I was looking forward to the the newly refurbished valenta in the 43044 to celebrate HST day loco thrashing its way through
Biggleswade since it was on the same route the prince risborough was on stopping at all the tidily stations but still going 125 through Biggleswade

Now I find out that rail tour isn’t just happening but it doesn’t exist idek what is going apparently the only one traversing the iconic King’s Cross to York route is stupid class 86 and theirs class 43 the valenta one is only running on the poxy lines no where near anywhere i live.

Its the fastest diesel train in the world not a f*cking class 170

someone lmk please if that even exists u could prob understand my frustration as the last time I saw one at full speed was 11 years ago only saw 7 in my total lifetime at speed.

even then I’ve never seen one at max as fly through at 105 instead it’s only the lines above where they really belt it

And I’ve never seen or heard valenta it would have been the first time but if it’s not on the fast line what’s the point.

If it’s true they missed out a golden opertunity and ruined the birthday of an icon 🤦‍♂️or am I missing something
