Hi all

I’m in Australia, if that’s relevant.

Tested positive to Ureaplasma Urealyticum about 18 months ago, because of BV symptoms. Was given Metronidazole gel (the first line BV treatment) but it obviously didn’t work because it is likely being caused by the UU.

So I’m going to go to my GP this week - she’s super knowledgeable with women’s health, and will agree to whatever tests I ask for.

Since the last test was 18 months ago I’m going to ask for another PCR swab test, just to see if maybe mycoplasma has joined the party too, but other than ureaplasma and mycoplasma, is there anything else I should get her to add to the test form?
