Shoes recommendations?

I have my first Hyrox in just three weeks, and I am a bit stumped about which shoes to wear.

Have the following with me right now:

Adidas Evo SL
Adidas Pro 4
New Balance 1080

Which one should I go with for the race? Or should I just grab a new pair? 😆

Coming from running background - how do I prepare myself for 1st Hyrox?

Hi everyone,

I am doing my first Hyrox in about 6 weeks and looking for some advice.

I am 44M and doing Men’s Doubles with my partner who is 67M.

We are both runners and have done multiple marathons, ultras etc. events. Running is probably our stronger area.

My partner is training with a Hyrox coach. I am not. To be honest, I don’t enjoy going to the gym, so most of my training is at home.

Currently I am doing:
Lunges
Squats
Burpees
Core exercises

I also run around 50-60 km every week. My marathon PB is 3:35.

At home I have:
Dumbbells
Weighted vest
Resistance bands
Stepper

With only 6 weeks left, what should I focus on?

Which stations are usually the toughest for runners? What are some good workouts I can do at home to prepare better?
My goal is not to compete for a podium. I just want to be well prepared and enjoy my first hyrox experience.
Would love to hear from people who came into HYROX from a running background.
