After finishing up the peak that is Ghostwater, my expectation was high for the next entry of this series. I caught some glimpse of others rating book 6 below book 5, so I was a bit worried. But thankfully, I enjoy underlord through and through.

I love that they show the full might of the blackflame empire, as well as its rival. The world building and political landscape is one of my favorite part of Cradle, and I like how they expand on it.

True gold Lindon now fighting toe to toe with an underlord, and easily defeated him minutes after he advanced, proud of my boy.

Still wondering the changes of his underlord advancement since we only get glimpse of that.

I was worried with Yerin, felt like she's too close to death in this book. I like how we get more scene of her slow born romance with Lindon, pretty broken power couple.

And her blood shadow too, will she(?) have a personality too? She's basically two underlord in one. The fact that she's able to hold two underlord as a true gold is mind boggling.

Path of endless sword seems broken. How in the world is the Sage getting SLIMED by a bunch of jades?

Mercy backstory is also being explored, her relationship with her mother and the akura family is interesting. Loving all the akura women we've seen so far, they all been so badass.

Fun fact, I just realized after finishing the book that this two are Akura Charity and Akura Malice.>! I understand, ngl I would also sell my firstborn just to see Akura Malice!<.

Poor Kiro, he's actually a decent guy. Not a complete hothead like his father and brother, he doesn't even hate Lindon. But he can't run from his responsibility nor can he resist his father foolish plan.

Meira is the obsession version of yerin. I hope Lindon can stay away from her.

Eithan is 34?

Orthos the GOAT (turtle) saving Lindon's sister was such a HYPE moment.

Can't wait to read the next book, I'm excited for more world building (especially about the nine clouds, I like the monarch personality) and how Lindon will explore his new power as underlord

I was contemplating whether to pull on the weapon banner or not, considering I'm saving for nicole and sandrone. Finally decided to just do 10 pulls and luckily got it.
Guess hoyo know my pain in farming for her artifact (4 months and still at 36 crit rate 😭)
