Editing because some people seem confused 😀 I’m referring to last night’s show in Woodinville, WA. The Boblinks site says in the setlist that he played guitar on several songs.

I read that at the Woodinville show, Bob played guitar on several songs. I hope he keeps this up - I’ve seen him twice, once at Outlaw and recently in Cleveland, but he didn’t play guitar either time. Just curious, for anyone who was there- did he play it seated, facing away from the audience, as he has been doing? I’m guessing yes. (I don’t really care, I’m happy no matter what he does, but I’m always interested in the surprises he springs on us.) Was it an acoustic or electric?

Hi, Our attic fan has started making a squeaking noise and we think it probably needs replacement - possibly just lubricating, but my husband couldn’t see any obvious way to do that. It’s at least 20 years old, probably more. It’s in a tight spot in our attic crawl space and he doesn’t want to try to get in there again. We called our HVAC company (John Betlem) but they don’t service or sell attic fans. Does anyone have a suggestion as to who might be able to help us? We’re in Brighton.

Edited to add: I’m seeing online that attic fans are falling out of favor, which may be why I’m having trouble finding any company that works on them or sells them. Some say they use a lot of energy & actually may pull cooled air out of the house into the attic space. Our house is a typical 1957 split level. Maybe we should just disconnect the fan and forget about it?

I recently read Smith’s book “Bread of Angels,” which is excellent. In it, she discusses the death of her beloved husband, Fred Sonic Smith, and how her friends, including Allen Ginsberg, eventually got her to return to performing. Ginsberg approached Dylan, who invited Patti to open some shows for him. He also sent her his lyric book and asked her to pick a song for them to sing together. She chose “Dark Eyes”.

I found a video of the performance (based on her description in the book, I’m 99% sure this is the one- she writes about “clutching my silk dress”). I think it’s so moving. She’s obviously fragile, and Bob is so careful with her, and so kind.

I’m planning to get tickets to see Bob in Queens on 7/21, but a) I’ve never been to this venue and b) I’m not great at reading seating charts 🙄 Would anyone familiar with Forest Hills be able to tell me which seats/sections look best to you? I’d like to be as close as I can get without spending more than around $200/$225 a ticket (I’ll need two).
Also, I’m short, so will probably avoid the floor seats as I’m assuming they’re just flat.
