Do you think staying calm in a crisis is something you're born with, or something trained ?
We get drilled on this constantly in clinic — how to stay steady when an animal is in real distress and the owner is panicking right in front of you. Some classmates seem to just naturally slow down and think clearly under pressure, while others (myself included, some days) feel their brain short-circuit even when they know exactly what to do. I'm curious whether this is more nature or more repetition — have any of you noticed yourselves getting genuinely calmer under pressure over time, or does it feel more like some people are just wired that way from the start?
