QUESHUN!

Hello!

Bought my first enflexy.. I appreciate the Anti-counterfeiting NFC thing.

Do I remove this before I put the grip tape? or just like The Beatles, I Let It Be and put grip tape over it?

Salamathanks!!

Happy OP!

I played my first Open Play today

Hello! Like the title said, I am very happy to move out of my comfort zone today.

I am not an athletic person. When people ask me what sport do I play, I say, I don’t play any sport. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I am very awkward with other people. It’s hard for me to admit because I always believe that I can easily get along with people, but I do feel the weight of awkward silences, the pressure of speaking, and the “what if I say something stupid?”.

Anyway, it feels nice to play with people you do not know. As a first time playing with people you do not know, I felt my heart pounding not of excitement, but the what ifs and the “you need to play well and good” thoughts.

However, as the series of games progressed, the thoughts disappeared. And toward the end, I thought of four things I’d like to share.. Just to get it off my chest,

  1. If you think you are a good player, THINK AGAIN.
    • I was impressed of the players! They move so fast! I want to be like them. These are the thoughts running in my mind like the one you see at the bottom of your screen during TV patrol. It’s very humbling to see them play, and to be honest, I want to play like them too.
  2. If you think they’re judging you, they’re not
    • Well, as a “bano” I am always anxious of my movements. Aside form that, maybe they’re thinking “awww man, I’m playing with that guy?” Well, maybe they are, maybe they aren’t, but the truth is, they’re also only thinking of playing and enjoying the movement. (Maybe I’m wrong with this, but who knows?)
  3. The good players, learn from them
    • I’m always looking at how they play, how graceful they move. One player I got tamed up with was so good with his service he gave us seven frickin’ points! It was mesmerizing to see how the ball bounces so low and veers to the right.
    • Another player was so agile and fast he was able to save the ball, at the right side of the court, and he was at the left! HAHAHA
    • I was just standing there and watching. Sometimes I forget that I’m also in the game. At the end of every game, I say to myself, “I want to learn that move.”

  4. Just have fun.
    • As others would say, “dedma sa bashers”. Maybe this is the naive part in me, consoling the crushing defeat I experienced, but I always go back to why I did this. I really just wanted to have fun, and to move.
    • At the end of the day, it’s just you and your thoughts. Might as well sleep happy. Haha

Four thoughts of mine, maybe someone needs to read this, maybe not.

Dedma sa bashers.

Ina (The Series)

A six episode short film taking on Identity, culture, and communication.

Shaming the Filipino-ness out of the person.

The ghost is bound to water

HELLO!

Anyone already watched Salmokji?

Ang ganda ng plot no? simple lang, hataw sa jumpscares, and pandigma ang plot twists.

What do you think?
