Fight Pits Glitch

I've read somewhere that once you manage to trigger the Fight Pit Glitch to quickly cycle orcs, it stays permanently active in your save. Is this correct?

My experience has been different. I've found that after I quit the game two or three times, it resets and I need to trigger it again. Is there something I'm missing? An additional step that locks it in? Or am I just misinformed?

Thanks in advance!

Az-Gang is BUILT

Training my first necromancer was an interesting experience. Used the Green Eyed Captain glitch to get this guy as a captain and he spawned in already with the cursed skin and weapon. Thought I'd give training him a shot.

He got his first three immunities pretty easily but became unbelievably stubborn when I tried to get poison or fire proof on him fourth. Ended up having to give him frost proof, then get poison proof, shame off frost and go for fire. That was a whirlwind and very roundabout method of achieving what I wanted.

Tried early on to give him his flamethrower and it was a similar story of stubbornness. Wouldn't take it, so I went back to curse and got Necromancer on him.

When he got to his 7 immunities, I reached out on here for advice on Epic Traits - He's got TS and GS. Got some great insights and some good help from a few people on here so a massive thank you to them.

While going for Tremor, I thought I'd take another shot at getting his flamethrower. Wouldn't you know it, he picked that up before getting Tremor. I'm fully convinced this guy wanted to get on every one of my nerves!

Having both (making 8 bonuses), I gave him back his curse weapon and went for Necromancer again.

So now, I'm pleased to present my 7149 Midnight Necro Olog. He's effectively 7049, since his enrage is Morgai Flies. Very happy with this guy.

Az-Gang Status Update

My Midnight Necro Olog is almost finished. He's reached his 7 immunities. Planning to make him Legendary so I was looking for advice on what Epic Traits he should be given.

I was thinking Epic Graug Call, since he's a Beastmaster, but what other trait should I give him? I'm between GS or TS but open to input.

Also, are Beastmasters better with fewer enrages so they use their Bestial Roar more frequently? Or should I put some more enrages on him?

Can Ologs get the Flame of War scar?

Title says it all. I expect not, but thought I'd ask to confirm whether my suspicions are correct or not.

Obligatory I'd include a photo of a FoW, but I don't own one

I found my next Project

I've found my next training adventure. Video shows the process of acquiring the Olog (as well as his traits before shaming down)

This one should be fun I think. He's lost Beast Slayer during the shaming process so fingers crossed he gets that back. I know I'm not likely to get a 7777 out of him but if I can grab Necromancer and good traits otherwise, I'll be happy with that.

Thanks to u/McHanz32 for sharing the green eye method of getting captains. Used it here, minus the consume (can't seem to get that to work on olog grunts that are already allied)

Wish me luck folks!

So, I know that the requirements to try and make a Beast olog is to have an olog captain killed by beasts. Does it matter if it's by caragor or graug?

Also, I'm 70+ hours into my save with 25 death cheats. I know I'm severely unlikely to get an olog to cheat death now without having ***numerous*** interactions with him. Does shaming count as an interaction for this, or do I need to meet him in lots of nemesis missions and out and about?

TIA

Hi Bright Lords 👋

Sharing my latest training project's finished piece. Took a bit of doing but we got there in the end. Mostly happy with him, especially managing to actually get to 7 immunities. That was a nice milestone to reach.

Saw the enraged by undead and thought he'd be cool to train, even if he wasn't an optimal orc for it. Still on my learning journey but that's part of the experience.

Found out via the vault test he was never going to be able to get immune to executions, which was a bit frustrating but it's not a massive deal.

Question: Are tanks similar to commanders, where it's better to have fewer enrages? So he can use his determination more often?
