Merci d’avance !

6190 on a woman wrist

We don’t see many women’s wrist shots around here, but I think many Serica models suit smaller wrists beautifully, offering an alternative to the traditional styling often associated with women’s watches.
Don’t hesitate to share yours!

Summer strap swap

Watches are ready for summer 😎
Strap swap is done. Serica’s one is the more comfortable by far.
And you what’s your best strap for hot season ?

Ready for a beach day. 🌊
For those who know… I think Luffy would wear this watch

Serica on a woman’s wrist : an underrated pairing

My wife’s 6190 catching the afternoon sun.

I’ve always thought Serica’s proportions were one of its greatest strengths, but seeing it on a much smaller wrist reinforces that feeling. The short lug-to-lug and compact case make it look elegant rather than oversized.

It never gives off the “borrowed my boyfriend’s watch” vibe to me. Quite the opposite.

New 7505

The 7505 is here ! What’s your opinion about this release ?
To me I think it’s a good move from Serica to have a small field watch in their collection. It’s hard to find a tool watch for small and female wrists. It has the brand DNA in many aspects.
I’m not sure about the hemispheric index on the bezel.
I love the curved bracelet endlinks !

Moreover, the safe lock system is a good news considering it will also bit fitted in the 6190 range

What’s your favorite 6190 dial?

Beyond the iconic dials inherited from the early 4512 models, the 6190 has evolved into a watch with several very distinct personalities.

From the iconic MSL, to the more assertive Serica DNA inspired by the 5303, all the way to the elegant TXD, the 6190 lineup has become surprisingly diverse.

Which one is your favorite, and why?

Omega, Blancpain and now Audemars Piguet… what about a collab between Swatch and Serica? Here’s an AI render of a bioceramic 5303 !

Is the Serica Parade one of the most underrated dress watches right now?

For me, the Parade doesn’t get enough attention in reviews or dress watch discussions.

With its unique design and toolwatch specs, it brings a really different approach to the dress watch concept. Do you agree ?

Or maybe it’s actually too casual to be considered a true dress watch?

What do you think and what would be the best alternative on the market?

Be honest, did Serica ever almost convince you… but something held you back?

I’ve come close to buying one a few times, but never pulled the trigger.

For me, it was things like:
– early concerns about the movement
– and the lack of physical retailers

Curious to hear what held you back (if anything).

Price? design? movement? something else

What do you like the least about Serica?

Every brand has its downsides, i’m curious to hear what stands out for you with Serica.
For me, it would be:
– unsigned crowns
– a bit of confusion between the French identity and the “Swiss Made” positioning

What about you?

Serica started with the 4512 field watch, and the 6190 seemed to carry that identity forward.
But with the rise of the 5303, especially the blue version, has that changed?
Which model best represents the brand today in your opinion?

The 39mm case of the 5303/5330 seems to fit most of the wrists. Since the last Squale release and as a lover of the Tudor BB54, I ask myself about a 37mm Serica dive watch. It would be also a good option for a woman watch !

At what point does a microbrand stop being one?

With its growing recognition and strong identity, I’m wondering where Serica stands today.

Do you still consider it a microbrand ?

The new 5330 seems to be a more polarizing release from Serica.

Especially because of the date window. What’s your take on it ?

- would you have place the date window differently ?

- you prefer no date at all?

- is it still a « true Serica » ?

Let’s see what you’re wearing!

Drop a photo of your Serica in the comments. On wrist, on strap, in daily life… anything goes.

Curious to see the different models, straps, and styles out there.

I’m right between both sizes according to the specs.

For those who own one, which did you go for and how does it fit?

Too much extra length with the standard?
