My newest creation, The Fruity Bizutti!

makes a bit more that 2/3 full in a Max

The inspiration from this is actually a song lyric of all things (artist & track noted in the recipe.

If you are asking yourself ‘Self? I wonder if there is a story here?’

Well, tell yourself that you are in fact correct 🤣

The Lore:

A few weeks back (it may have when we test ran the Boozy Dole Whip), we were working on getting ourselves cross-faded on gummies & our new creation.

The college football game we were watching was getting out of hand ( Go Gators! 🐊), so we muted the tv & started a jam on Spotify.

My stepson, who has ABSOLUTELY no idea what moderation means, hopped into the family Spotify cue & literally CARPET-BOMBED it with tracks he likes.

‘Caribou Lou’ by Tech N9ne was one of his contributions.

For some reason, my mind latched onto the bar with ‘fruity bizutti’ in it, & whatever version of myself that was present decided those words were a PERFECT name for a slush. I am just impressed I had the forethought to write down the name in my Slushi recipe book & to start some rudimentary notes on how this concoction should be constructed.

We decided to do the first test run today. We stuck with the original ingredient list (that my impressively impaired self concocted 🤣 ….. I mean, Hawaiian Punch SCREAMS ‘we were high AF when we thought this up), & just increased the alcohol to 1.5 cups of each after mixing it with 1 cup each of the rums. We mixed in the sugar after adding the lime juice, just to make it more palatable to Mrs Ni! ( also known as ‘She Who Must Be Obeyed’). We liked where it was going, and tasted it with & without the Cointreau. 4 ounces of that orange elixir is the ‘rug that ties the whole room together,’ to put it into ‘The Dude’s’ vernacular.

This one is getting added to our recipe book, & we shall debut if for family & friends at our next get-together.

Enjoy!

Bourbon infused Frosty

(Recipe in pics)

Tastes like a Wendy’s Frosty, plus a touch of bourbon. The consistency is spot on.

This one is a hit with the adult members of the family

Boozy Dole Whip

5 to 6 cups pineapple juice
2 packets Dream Whip powder
1 to 2 cups of rum

Combine liquids, whisk in powder, & run on milkshake or Spiked Max.

Makes about 2/3 of a tank in the Max

Long Island Iced Tea Slush!

I Know! I am flying incredibly close to the sun on this one. But it ain’t crazy if it works, right?

7 ounces each of the following:

Vodka
Rum
Gin
Tequila
Orange liquor (I prefer Cointreau, but dealer’s choice)

56 ounces of lemonade (Publix has a good gallon in their deli)
2 cups of cola

This fills a Max to about 3/4 full. Run on Spiked Max.

It does not set up as solid as others (alcohol content is stratospheric), but I am honestly stoked that I got it to work on the first try.

Enjoy, & let me know what you think!

UPDATE:

This one required patience. We were in a hurry to sample, & pulled before it completed. It takes a bit longer than anything I have run so far, but it ends up being the right consistency if you let it work.

Lemon Drop Slush!

Had leftover lemonade from last night, so this was my next adventure. Spiked max setting again.

Similar flavor profile to the Lynchburg lemonade I posted yesterday, just smoother with the vodka & the Cointreau help balance it out.
