2026.2 - "default export format now .xlsx" - no change?

2026.2 - "default export format now .xlsx" - no change?

Hi all,

Want to check whether my expectation is correct or not...

I "thought" that the 2026.2 change in default export format to .xlsx would mean that we would no longer get that irritating notification regarding file format and extension not matching, when opening in Excel.

Testing in our RP account and seems that nothing has changed?

Is anyone else experiencing same? Am wondering if this is something that is a defect (and has this been logged already?); or my expectation is incorrect?

RP account: Exported Saved Search and file extension is still .xls

Try to open the file and get the same message:

Search to find Inbound Shipments without files attached.

Further to this post...

https://www.reddit.com/r/Netsuite/comments/1u87sx9/native_transaction_search/

We are using File Drag & Drop to attach shipping documents to each Inbound Shipment.

I am looking for suggestions on how to identify INBSHIP without documents attached.

I have tried following suggestions in above post, but File Fields... is not available on INBSHIP (so using criteria 'File Fields: InternalID is empty' isn't possible).

How do you document 'as-built' system architecture?

Hi all,

My team is responsible for managing our NetSuite instance, and integrated software.

As a business we are constantly enhancing our build.

My team’s responsibility is to gather business requirements; determine the solution/architecture (both system process and business process); build out as much as we can (we do all the low/no code stuff); work with our support partners for any script work; test and deliver the finalised solution to the business.

I am reviewing how we (my team) document what we have done (what has been built in the system) and why we did it that way.  We are all self-taught and have developed into our roles within this business – so don’t have any reference to “here is the way we did it in my previous role”.

We have been creating Word documents with screen snips, hyperlinks etc.

These work ‘OK’ and do allow for recording the thinking underpinning our approach.

We also make extensive use of the Description/Help fields on custom fields/workflows etc (but of course are limited by the perennial problem of lack of any description field on a Saved Search!!).

I’m curious to hear suggestions of how other people document their system design, and what software you use to assist.

Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge.

Vendor Center - remove reference to 2FA from Settings on Home page

Hi all,

We have customised the Vendor Center role. It does not have 2FA enabled.

How can we prevent/remove the references to 2FA from showing in Settings on the Home page?

Although a user cannot use the linked pages, we would like to remove the links entirely.
