Does anyone know if a steering column from a 2003 Tahoe will work in my 2002 Silverado 2500HD?

My steering wheel is destroyed, and my tow/haul, horn and cruise don’t work. I sourced a really clean steering column locally, parted out from a 2003 Tahoe. Same features my column currently has. I’m seeing mixed reviews online when trying to check compatibility.
