Attempted to create a graphic which gives off a gritty and illegal vibe. Burglars flipping stolen diamonds on the Internet type stuff.

I'm working on my side project called Old Mans Skate Club and the first picture is the original design idea that I had for OMSC. I posted it to this subreddit earlier this week asking for critiques and suggestions because I felt something was off. The post can be found here, Original Design Post. The response was great and I received a ton of useful suggestions and critiques on it.

The second image is where I ended up. When looking at the images side by side I feel that the second image has a much more cohesive feel, and I like it way more than the first attempt. I think that each individual element compliments each other.

The only thing that I dislike, which I would like to address is the puppeteer's string. Does anyone have any suggestions on that? I kind of think it looks like shit. As always, totally open to feedback and comments on this!

This is a current design I am messing around with for my small project called Old Mans Skate Club (https://oldmansskateclub.com). I like the direction it is headed, but I also hate it.

I think my primary issue is with the font even though it looks really smooth with the letter perspective and the banner. I am currently looking and reviewing more grunge style fonts, but I'd like to get some suggestions on this as a whole. Thank you!

My ankle is healing from my gnarly sprain I acquired back in November from being an idiot. I've been skating more again, and I am still giving out OMSC stickers at my local every weekend.

Time is still an issue with having another kid on the way in November, but OMSC is on the up and up! I'm not sure when I will be able to design something new next, but I am really going to try.
