Pray for Mother and baby!!

Literally as of this moment! My older sister's water just broke she is 2 minutes apart and she is about to have my nephew!!

Lady Aphrodite had guided me with ladybugs to show me something was coming! And I think after a couple days my sister showed up and announced her pregnancy to me!

And now it's happening! She's having a baby and I'm so scared!

I prayed to Aphrodite asking for a safe and as painless as possible birth for my sister, to keep both her and baby safe!

I know there's a lot of gods and goddesses that represent fertility and birth!! So please if you have the time pray for my sister Lexi and my new nephew Elio!!

I can't wait to meet him, and I hope the gods bless him and my sister

Do you think the gods can be disappointed in us?

(I haven't posted in a while but here's some context)

About a week ago I got a message from an ex-friend. That someone they dated their sophomore year lost their battle to cancer and passed away. I only met them once at homecoming or something, and if I'm honest I don't even remember it.

So when they told me that the funeral was on Saturday, I had a week to really decide if I was going to go or not.

I was an absolute wreck! I felt like if I went I would be a fraud because I didn't know the person, like at all! But I also felt guilty thinking about not going!

I was pretty depressed and scared, if I'm honest. I'm a Hades devotee, I try not to fear death because I know at the end of the day he has a plan and a home for all of us.

But being faced with the fact that somebody as young as 17 can die so quickly and so suddenly, and that something like that could happen to me as well. Did really really scare me!

But as we can see today is Saturday, and I chose not to go to the funeral. Of course I messaged my ex friend a little in advance that I wasn't planning on going and to give the family my condolences.

But throughout the day I just felt so irritable and dreadful, I guess. Like there was just some heavy weight of pressure on me or expectation on me.

And so I turned to Hades and I talked to him a little bit about how this was really my first experience with death of somebody I at least knew, even if it was barely. I talked about how I realized I was a little bit scared that I could die at any time, any age, anywhere. But I knew I didn't have to be in constant fear of it, because it's something that's natural and it'll happen regardless, and I knew he had a plan for me, at home for when I do inevitably pass on. So I know I should live my life to the fullest.

But I did still feel that wait...and I asked him if he was disappointed in me for not attending the funeral. I told him I knew I didn't have to feel guilty about it. But I was worried he was disappointed.

And I use a pendulum to speak with the gods and while he told me he wasn't and it did make me feel a bit better.

It still makes me wonder if maybe the gods can be disappointed in us? Any thoughts?
