I think my provider is clueless

So this cycle I did gonal-f. On Friday I had a 14mm and 10 mm follicle. Went back yesterday. Follicles gone. Ultrasound showed fluid and blood flow. That afternoon a nurse called me and said "Good news, you haven't ovulated"... so I asked her where my follicles went... The response... "Well you're in the process". I personally didn't get my labs until this morning. Lab work showed Progesterone was 2.2, estrogen 228 and LH 12... from my understanding these numbers indicate I had ovulated 24 hours + ago. We were supposed to do timed intercourse. So unless we have the immaculate conception... I am already out. I wasted almost 1800 dollars this cycle on meds and appointments.

The lady who has been doing all of my Ultrasounds I think might have misinformation or is just dumb. Or both. She wanted me to go ahead and have sex last night because "Theres a chance. Once you ovulate it can be viable up to 48 hours"... in no literature have I EVER seen 48 hours. I have only seen 12-24 hours with most being in the first 6 hours. I pointed this out. She said "There's no harm in trying". Excuse me? I am not going to get my hopes up again this cycle for nothing. I'm not shoving pills up my who-ha for nothing. And she also keeps saying that with each cycle of IUI your chance increases... this isn't true. The individual cycle stays the same.

The unfortunate part is this is the only fertility clinic that is in network. So I am stuck with them. Honestly at this point I just want to pull the trigger in IVF.

How do you keep your hopes neutral?

I think the hardest thing about TTC is getting my hopes up. Every medicated round I say "this is the one" and i get my hopes up. But I think if I could just stay neutral it would be better for my mental health.

What do we think....?

Somewhere between 8-11 DPO. I wasn't tracking with LH strips this cycle.

To refinance or not to refinance

I bought a home last year at 7.2%, 306k is what is on the mortgage. Payments are 2400 dollars a month. I can Refinance with my local credit union at 5.75% with no PMI. It would save me about 600 dollars a month. Fees to Refinance are roughly 6k so my ROI would only be 10 months. It feels like a no brainer to just refinance my home. The only reason why I haven't is because I was waiting until interest rates dropped a little bit more. I figure I can use the extra 600 a month and put it into our investment account which should produce a 7-10% return. We've been lucky and are sitting closer to 15%. Am I missing something? Am I just over thinking?

What to do now, Car repossessed

A family member had their car repossessed last night. According to them, they were only 2 payments late and had been playing catch up since Christmas. Always a payments or so late. The loan is through Cinch Auto. They are closed today so we can not call them. Has anyone delt with Cinch Auto? I cannot find anywhere where it says if they reinstate loans or require full loan balance. Financially I have the money to get them back up to current and yes, they can "afford" it. (They just had a baby so once mom goes back to work they will be fine but right now are struggling)
