I don't know exactly how is he smelling fruitiness in paco rabanne invictus victory elixir?

I have seen a few videos on invictus victory elixir by him where he mentions it has fruitiness in it but clearly it's a smokey warm spicy vanilla amber fragrance. Even there's no official mention of any fruity note. In his recent video he smells pineapple in it.

Do you guys smell any fruit? Coz it is way different from OG invictus or kind of opposite. It's a warm mature fragrance and I use it in summer AC environment bcoz I just love it. Using this since 3 years never caught a fruity note.

Brutus by Gulabsingh Johrimal- for those who love classic scents

Brutus by Gulabsingh Johrimal is an attar that feels like a tribute to a bygone era of men's grooming. The moment it touches the skin, it brings back memories of the classic Brut musk aftershave and deodorant that were once staples in many households. It's a deeply nostalgic scent, carrying the familiar aroma of what our fathers and grandfathers would wear—a fragrance profile that is becoming increasingly rare today.

The opening is fresh, aromatic, and distinctly fougère in character. Herbal nuances mingle with a gentle spice, creating an unmistakably masculine impression from the outset. Unlike many modern fragrances that lean heavily into sweetness, Brutus maintains a traditional and dignified character that feels both comforting and timeless.

As the attar settles, a musky sweetness begins to emerge. The musk is smooth and clean, complemented by subtle sweet undertones that soften the sharper aromatic elements. This interplay of spicy, fresh, and musky notes gives the composition depth without sacrificing its easy wearability(again only for those who love mature fragrances).

What makes Brutus particularly appealing is its authenticity. It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel or follow contemporary trends. Instead, it embraces the classic masculine DNA that made scents like Brut so beloved. The result is an attar that feels mature, confident, and effortlessly elegant, with a strong barbershop-inspired charm.

Performance is another pleasant surprise. On skin, Brutus delivers around 8 hours of longevity, providing a consistent scent experience throughout most of the day. While it wasn't tested on clothing, its skin performance is more than satisfactory. For lovers of traditional aromatic fougères and vintage-style masculine scents, Brutus by Gulabsingh Johrimal is a wonderfully nostalgic attar that deserves a place in the collection.

Blue Legend by Hasan Oud - Probably the first review (nobody Probably asked for lol)

Hasan Oud Blue Legend is clearly inspired by the DNA of Bleu de Chanel EDT and EDP, but instead of copying it exactly, it leans much more into the citrusy-fresh side. The opening is bright, energetic, and very mass pleasing with a clean “blue fragrance” vibe. It does not carry the same refined depth, smoky incense character, or luxurious smoothness that makes Bleu de Chanel special — I’d say it captures around 65% of the overall feel.

What I liked is that it avoids smelling harsh or synthetic for the price. The citrus-heavy opening makes it easier to wear casually in Indian weather, especially for college, office, or daytime outings. However, the deeper Chanel-like sophistication is missing, so fragrance enthusiasts will immediately notice the difference in character.

Performance is honestly weird in an interesting way. Most of the time it lasts around 5–6 hours, but occasionally I keep getting random whiffs even after 10 hours, especially on clothes. Projection is decent for the first couple of hours before settling closer to the skin.

The reality is: the Bleu de Chanel DNA is extremely difficult to clone properly. Most budget attempts either become too synthetic or lose the balance entirely. But within the ₹1500 range, Blue Legend is still one of the better options if you simply want a fresh blue fragrance inspired by that style without spending designer money.

Overall: Not a true replacement for Bleu de Chanel, but a solid affordable alternative for someone wanting that fresh citrus-blue vibe on a budget.
