It was down to two boxes after using hint cards. I decided to put both boxes in my cart but only purchase one at a time. This one was either going to have Strolling Ladybug, Fluttering Butterfly or the secret. Got it right on the first box. I didn’t purchase the second one. 🤭
On a rare visit to the mall while in Charlotte, I decided to check to see if Bath and Body Works had any of the Halloween carousel wristlets available. They were out of stock online, but I was able to get one in the store. It’s a perfect hideout for these two 🤡.

It will be a while before I put it together though. I’m in the process of rearranging my room with a new display cabinet for all of my collectibles, but I’m so excited that it finally arrived! I should peek 👀 inside to see how Skinner is doing. 🤭
It’s not that it actually takes this long to complete. It took me this long because of my level of frustration with the pattern. 😂 Last year, one of my daughter’s best friends saw the creator of this pattern feature the project on TikTok and she just had to have one and knew I could crochet. 👀
I purchased the pattern from Etsy and decided to give it a go. For me, some of the instructions weren’t clear so I had to wing it a bit. I became frustrated when it was time to crochet the body and so it sat in my unfinished projects container for about year. I kept putting off completing it, but decided this past weekend to get this thing done. I didn’t want her friend thinking that I forgot about her. And honestly, it turned out better than I thought. So much so, that my daughter wants one, but she will be my last and I plan to use non-chenille yarn. 😂
I remember watching “Dragon Tales” with her as a kid and so, yeah, it has been a very special project even through the frustration. I’m not sure if the pattern has been modified since then, but hopefully if anyone else gives it a go, it won’t take you a year. 🥴
