I’ve been doing lots of research on Hellenistic Greece, specifically Alexander’s campaign and events in Alexandria. I’m really curious about who these people were in real life. I’ve read about different opinions on what we lost in the library, and I’m worried that what I’m looking for could be what isn’t around anymore. People have compared it to a filing cabinet in some ways, where the tax documents exist somewhere else, but the journal entries, or drawings from your kid likely wouldn’t change the world. What if it was 400 drawings of the same event? How much were these people like us?
