Tirzepatide vs Reta: if tirz provides better hunger suppression, why is Reta more effective?

So a very common sentiment I read here is that Reta doesn't crush hunger as much as Tirz. And yet, all the weight loss studies (like the Phase 3 data released today) show the weight loss on Reta is *much* more significant than on Tirz.

can someone help me square this circle? These are trial participants, so presumably just average people in both groups

Brookline For Everyone: My $0.02

First, I want to say I'm personally very happy with the results of the election. The override needed to pass and we needed pro building candidates to increase our tax base and increase affordability. I'm glad the Brookline for Everyone folks did as well as they did, and I'm very happy Amanda won.

My only concern about the B4E message is they have conflicting goals.

I think *this* statement they have is exactly correct:

Our people, our schools and our businesses will flourish when Brookline changes our zoning codes to permit the development of compact, walkable neighborhoods with homes at all income levels near public transit

And honestly it doesn't need to be more complicated than that. We need to build. Build everything.

Introducing *additional* goals will make that harder. I cringe a bit more when reading this section:

Brookline for Everyone is a grassroots organization of Brookline residents who want Brookline to be environmentally sustainable, economically thriving, and racially inclusive.

Environmental sustainability is not a bad thing but every building requirement that includes these goals makes building *more expensive* and that will prevent some buildout. Requirements around insulation, or green energy, or sustainable materials - these all increase costs. And when you increase costs you decrease affordability. And your tax gains dont materialize bc the #'s dont work to build with interest rates this high

If you want to be racially inclusive, you need to build more housing. full stop. and not put in rules around who can build or buy or rent

If we want to maximize building and affordability, you can't *also* put in regulations that increase costs

so if the B4E folks are reading this, I hope you keep this in mind. Now lets go build!
