How to fight against exhaustion while recovering

Hi all, I tested my ferritin in July, and it was 13. Have been on supplements, working with a Dietician on a protein-rich, iron-rich diet, taking vitamins, and also recently got on birth control to stop periods and blood loss. I am still so exhausted. What else can I do to help myself? My biggest symptoms are muscle aches, brain fog, and feeling like I need to sleep after any task.

How to stop missing questions

I keep missing -1 to -3, and feel so frustrated. This applies to both LR and RC. I review, but clearly I am missing something. How do I close this gap? When I review, I feel like it makes sense and I wasn't careful, or didn't read slowly enough. But when I do full sections or full tests, I very rarely get -0.

Misreading?

How can I limit misreading? I know it is present at every level, but at this point the questions I get wrong are from misreading.

I will review questions I've done and read them and realize I didn't read carefully or assumed it said something it didn't actually say. I need habits to stop doing this. Thanks!

Ferritin of 13 - and symptomatic

Hi all, I have a ferritin of 13 and am symptomatic. Legs and hands ache. I feel dizzy often and deal with chronic fatigue. Often feel like after a task I want to nap, even with good sleep. I'm 28 F, no other health issues, all my test results have come back fine. PCP put me on ferrous sulfate and said infusions are not an option. I'm an endurance runner and have a heavy period. OBGYN doesn't seem to care - I reached out because I had an extremely intense period this week with vomiting, nausea, and felt like I was going to pass out. They told me if it's that bad to go to the ER, but they don't have availability to see me soon.

Does anyone have advice on improving my condition and relieving symptoms? Thanks.

Hand and Leg/Foot Pain

I get muscle aches in my hands, legs, and feet. sometimes so painful I just want to sleep and it's hard to even type on my phone. For a while I thought I kept picking up viral infections. It turns out I have an iron deficiency and extremely low ferratin. Is the muscle aches a real thing for people with low iron? They won't give me an infusion, so I'm on the pill, eating more meat, etc. What else do people do?

Context: I'm a woman in her twenties who is an endurance athlete. I felt tired and fatigued for months but thought it was a result of a busy lifestyle before I finally got a full panel done. My doctors don't think a ferritin of 13 is an issue since everything else seems fine. But I am extremely symptomatic and struggling here.
