Starting a new job and I’m from out of state so everything’s brand new to me. My options are Kaiser or UC HMO (which seems like every doctor/hospital except anything Kaiser).

Background: Health family of 3, mom+dad+1.5year old toddler. No health issues, no meds. Potential future additional baby in a year or two. I don’t mind driving to UCSF for hospital care if the need came (childbirth) but would rather do routine care east bay since we live there (Lamorinda). I am aware Kaiser is its own private system.

Which is better? And Why? Bonus points for any insight on L&D/prenatal info.
