IELTS Test experience

Gave my IELTS today, sharing my experience in case it helps someone.

Listening:

Didn't find it hard, but you really need to stay focused. If your attention goes away for even a second, you can miss the answer. It happened to me today 😭.

Reading:

I feel time management is very important. I reached Passage 3 with only around 15 minutes left, so I had to rush and definitely messed up there.

Writing:

Task 1 was a bar chart.

Task 2 was about people preferring to use the internet for medical problems/information instead of visiting a doctor.

Speaking:

Part 1 had quite a lot of questions about work, watches and clothes, with follow-ups.

Part 2 was about food, and this is where I struggled 😭. I couldn't gather enough ideas and couldn't speak for long. The examiner even asked if I wanted to say more, but my brain was completely fogged at that moment.

Part 3 was also about food, special-occasion food vs daily meals, and whether families will continue sharing meals together in the future, plus loneliness.

Don't have my result yet. Will update once I get it.

Hope this helps someone preparing! ❤️
