How do you track nutrition for homemade meals in Cronometer?

I've been cooking a lot more at home lately to eat healthier but I'm still trying to figure out the most efficient way to track homemade meals.

For those who use Cronometer regularly, curious what your experience is with this app? Do you log each ingredient individually, create custom recipes, or something else?

Would love to hear what has worked well for you.

How do you track nutrition for homemade meals?

I've been cooking a lot at home recently to try to eat healthier. For those who cook most of their meals at home, what's your process for tracking your nutrition intake (energy, macro/micronutrient)?

Do you use nutritional tracking apps to log individual ingredients or do something else?

Curious what people have found sustainable long-term.

Looking for advice to get started on meal prepping

I've been trying to cook more at home lately to eat healthier and try to save up on food cost. i'm curious about how people go about their meal prepping.

when you’re planning meals, do you usually start with what you already have at home and build meals around that, or do you plan out meals first and then shop for specific ingredients?

Trying to understand which approach works better. if you have any tips to stay consistent with meal prepping and maintianing a healthy diet, I'd love to hear them!

Planning to cook more at home, curious about how people here plan their meals.

When you're planning meals for the week, do you typically buy groceries first and then decide what to make based on what's in your fridge? or do you plan specific meals in advance and shop accordingly?
