I hate fp aphelios, so my support can take something that doesn't help the lane at all

It's still insane that mages bot dont have mana problems at all after the first recall (lost chapter) and they can still outrade you while missing the majority of their abbilities
The vast majority of bot matchup is mages rn

I saw someone asking about the build, and luckily I've tested it quite a bit, so here's my take.

I've played around 40 games with it across two accounts: one in Diamond 4 and one in Master around 1200 LP.

I'm not really counting the Diamond games since that was basically smurfing.

As for the Master games... meh. Collector helps a lot in the early game and can get a snowball going, but there are two major issues.

First, your mid-game damage is really lacking. Seriously, the damage drop-off feels awful.

Second, you're way too reliant on your support with this build. To give you an idea, I was lacking so much damage that I switched to Conqueror just to test it, and I actually got better results with it.

If you want to snowball with this build, you pretty much need a hook support or, more generally, a support with strong engage. It's a gamble: if you don't build up a big enough lead early on, you fall off hard in the mid game.

The playstyle is all about pure kiting, and you only use your abilities when you really need to. You get a ton of attack speed, which is nice, but if the game starts snowballing in the enemy team's favor, you're probably never making it to Infinity Edge by the end of the game.

Terminus feels pretty good on Aphelios and makes you a bit tankier as well.

Overall, I'm not a fan of the build, but if you want to give it a try, do it at your own risk.

P.S. I don't know who Aleksis is. I was simply curious to test his build for myself and share my experience with it. This isn't meant as a jab at him or his ideas in any way. Just my personal experience after trying it out.
