2026 Civic Hybrid makes an engine sound for 40 seconds in the first few minutes of driving

When I start up my Civic and start driving, within the first minute or two, i twill make a (comparatively to the rest of the car) loud engine sound towards the passenger side of the car.

Is this normal? Is it part of the hybrid functionality? The car is so quiet otherwise, this sound sticks out to me, but I'm wondering if its just normal startup sounds.

Fixing misshapen corner of roof

We removed a tree that was brushing up against our roof last year, and I realized that the corner of my roof is misshapen. Looks like the previous homeowners caulked where the gutter meets roof, maybe as
an attempt to remedy this.

Anything I need to do here other than straighten out this white piece that is tucked behind the gutter? Should I make any other efforts to seal around it?

I checked inside the attic where the corner is, and there isn't any visible damage to the interior.

Bird-aware arborist to trim some hedges/trees

I've got some tall hedges and trees that have a bunch of bird nests, squirrels, and other creatures in them. I need to trim them back as they an encroaching on my garage and the neighbor's structure. I'd really like to find someone who can do this job in a way that will minimize impact on the wildlife living in there.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

I've been playing professionally for about a decade, but this problem has plagued me forever.

I produce too much spit. When I play the horn for more than 30 seconds, spit accumulates in the horn so much so that it changes the resistance and makes it harder to play. Then I take 3 seconds to blow the spit out and the horn feels better again. I'll also periodically blow air through the horn and then tip it upside down to empty out through the bell when it really builds up.

Any tips on how to reduce this or prevent it from happening?

I've tried the simplest solution, drinking more water and keeping myself hydrated.

I'm wondering if my aperture is too large and letting more spit out with the air when playing.

Anyone else faced this bizarre issue and what did they do to fix it?
