Is there anyone like me?

I’ve been having ectopic beats for a whole month now. Some days are better than others. I would just like to know if there’s any other people out there who have the same situation as me?

They can be all throughout the day, some stronger than others.

I saw my doctor who prescribed me propranolol and gave me an examination and an ECG, which was fine.

Am I gonna be ok basically? Because sometimes my anxiety tells me I’m not…

Majestica reeks of AI

I discovered Majestica at Tuska Festival this year and got HOOKED. I listen to them all the time and I love them. Going to see them at Tavastia, Helsinki next month! 🤘

However I can’t shake the feeling that AI is ridden within their newest album…

The artwork, the lyrics, the “ChatGPT, write me a classic power metal song” vibe to all their songs.

I really don’t want it to be true, and it might not be. But Majestica, if you’re seeing this, please, just leave AI out of it. Us fan can see through it and although you’re probably able to write and release music with much more ease, it’ll harm you more than it’ll help you. I’m not saying everything is AI, but certain parts seem very obviously AI influenced.

Lyrics like, “I’m your density, I mean destiny” in ‘Go Higher’ is probably the worst lyric I’ve ever heard in my life. It’s such a pointless lyric and makes me cringe when it’s supposed to be a powerful uplifting song. Just sounds like AI told them is was a great idea.

“Pump the dark, black iron like a shark”… I mean, those are just words. They don’t mean anything. Just playing word lottery and finding random worlds that rhyme. Again, AI ridden.

I could go on and on with how much their lyrics stank of “Chat GPT, write me corny power metal lyrics about a powerful train going really fast”. (Would love it if others have examples)

I still love listening to their music on my walks, at the gym, cooking, but something about their music feels soulless to me. No smoke without fire imo. I’d be very very surprised if at least some of their lyrics and other elements of the band weren’t AI influenced.

They’ll probably never admit it. But Majestica members, I’m telling you, don’t fall for it. The more you use AI, the more lifeless your music will become. We can tell.

Anyone else get the same feeling?

Regardless, can’t wait to see them next month with Gloryhammer! 🤘

Panic attack AFTER stress relief

Hello!

So 6 weeks ago I developed a tight left abdomen wall that lasted 3 weeks, then as that faded it seemed like the sensation relocated several times going more internal, then lower, then to my groin, and for the last week ending in my testicle. All on the left side.

The issue wasn’t the weird nervy pains (I could deal with that fine). It was the worry that came with them. Some unexplained weird sensations with only slight pain that travelled through my body (almost as if it was on a journey to end in my testicle - weird!).

Anyway, the most worrying thing was I’ve had testicular cancer before (13 years ago) and so whenever I feel any pain there I get super worried, understandably. Relapsing from cancer can be life threatening, and even if I made it through again, that’s my last chance of having children which I want to start having next year.

So being a very health anxious person anyway, these past 6 weeks, and especially the last week, have been hell. It’s like a bottle of stress has been filling up slowly and the last week has been the bottleneck.

Well, I received very good news 2 days ago when an amazing Finnish doctor asked me 45 minutes of questions and did the most extensive examination of my testicle anyone’s ever given by far. He said that he couldn’t find anything and it feels like a normal ball. He’s still sending me for an ultrasound to see if it might be epididymis which I’ve had twice before already. (The thing is I did suspect this but there was no way my anxiety was going to let me believe that). So I had THE best walk home ever. The relief I felt was palpable.

So, and why I’m actually here, the next day I woke up feeling pressure in my torso and head. I could feel my pulse beating through my front and back. My ears felt like they were going to pop. I felt disconnected and on wobbly legs. I just felt so OFF.

I went for a walk to see if it was just misplaced energy that needed to be released and as I was walking through the forest I felt like I was going to fall backwards, so I decided to go home and rest.

I got home, made some food, and sat down to watch the best kind of monotonous entertainment I could (Trackmania).

Well, after about 15 minutes… BOOM! My whole body went *THUD* and my heart rate went to the moon and took me with it. The adrenaline rush was insane. Like I’d taken a heroic dose of psychedelics or something. I thought I was in big big trouble so I immediately called the emergency services. They came within 10 minutes (Go Finland) and between that time I had another rush of adrenaline and was very relieved that help was coming.

They got to me and immediately did an ECG, blood sugar, pulse, questions, and decided to take me to the hospital for monitoring and further tests.

I’ll cut this part short but basically the doctor concluded after blood tests, examinations and monitoring that I was fine and had no risk factors. So I went home, had some food, and went to bed.

I CANNOT believe this level of “OMG I’m going to die imminently” can happen just psychologically. That your mental can affect your physical that much.

My question is, simply, has this happened to anyone else? And if so, was you ok in the end? And what happened days/weeks later?

I know people suffer with migraines and stuff after their stress has relieved, but did anyone feel this pressure as if your BP was high, or feel your pulse beating hard, or on wobbly legs and disconnected, and then a panic attack?

I appreciate those who read this lengthy post and I’d be very grateful if anyone can help me.

It’s now the day after I got back from hospital last night and I’m in my garden trying to chill, feeling a bit disconnected but letting myself know I’m ok.

Thank you so much.
